Press Release: CorrActions Partners with CIOT to Enhance Fleet Safety with Advanced Driver Cognitive Impairment Detection

Seamless integration of CorrActions’ NeuroMonitor Platform with CIOT’s Smart Connect FMS Device enables real-time driver intoxication and fatigue monitoring

TEL AVIV, Israel, January. 20, 2024  — CorrActions, a pioneer of in-cabin cognitive NeuroMonitoring with a mission to improve driver safety and save lives, has teamed up with CIOT, a global leader in connected car security, to integrate its NeuroMonitor platform into CIOT’s Smart Connect FMS (Fleet Management System) device. This collaboration offers fleet operators a powerful tool to monitor driver impairments in real-time, enhancing safety and compliance across commercial vehicle fleets, and reducing costs by minimizing accident-related expenses, insurance premiums, and operational disruptions.

CIOT’s FMS device gathers diverse driving data, electric/hydrogen vehicle component data, vehicle diagnostic data, and driver behavior data. Its next-generation version, integrated with CorrActions’ NeuroMonitor, enables fleet managers to detect early signs of driver fatigue and intoxication through advanced AI algorithms. By analyzing brain activity through muscle micro-motions picked up by existing in-cabin sensors such as the steering wheel, the platform provides real-time alerts, allowing for immediate intervention. Fleet operators can also smartly track and score drivers’ behavior over time, using collected data to assess driving patterns. This not only helps reduce insurance costs but also enables operators to predict driver safety and gauge the impact on vehicle wear and tear.

“CorrActions’ NeuroMonitor platform enables both fleet operators and automakers to integrate real-time driver impairment monitoring into their vehicles, improving safety, reducing risks, and boosting operational efficiency” said Ilan Reingold, CEO of CorrActions. “Our collaboration with CIOT marks a significant step forward in fleet safety, enhancing driver protection and contributing to overall fleet performance.”

“Integrating CorrActions’ cutting-edge driver monitoring platform into our Smart Connect FMS Device is a natural progression in our mission to ensure the safety and security of connected vehicles through innovative technologies”, said Hyeonju Park, CEO of CIOT. “This ensures that fleet operators can manage risk effectively while keeping their drivers safe.”

CorrActions and CIOT will demo the technology on January 22nd in Korean Autonomous Driving City (K-City), a state-of-the-art “smart city” testing and development facility simulating a real-world driving environment, located in South Korea. CorrActions and CIOT invite interested parties to reach out for an invitation to an exclusive, live-streamed event in Seoul, broadcasting live footage from the demo, including video captured from inside the vehicles.

About CorrActions

CorrActions is revolutionizing how vehicles monitor and understand drivers’ and passengers’ cognitive states with its pioneering in-cabin NeuroMonitoring platform. Analyzing brain activity reflected in muscle micro-motions collected by existing vehicle sensors, the platform provides deep understanding of the driver, enabling vehicles to act accordingly and deliver a smarter, more secure driving experience.

Supported by industry leaders including Volvo, Goodyear, and Blackberry, CorrActions is actively engaged with standardization and regulation bodies like Euro NCAP in Europe and NHTSA in the United States, to shape the future of road safety and save lives.
